Central Idea

Multilingual Education can foster an equitable learning environment and empower global communication.

Problem

We identified the following problems that we hope to solve.

  • Personal

    I often feel left out when I struggle to understand my friends' languages and express myself confidently.

  • Local:

    In my community, language differences make it difficult for newcomers to feel included in social events and access local services.

  • Global:

    Language barriers hinder people from fully participating and accessing important information.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 global goals set by the UN to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all by 2030.

Action

Here are our actions which we intend to use to curtail the problems we have discovered.

  • Board Game

    For our first action, we created a board game that helps players learn basic phrases in different languages. It’s fun, interactive, and a great way to practice vocabulary.

  • A Multiingual Storybook

    Additionally, we created a multilingual storybook. this storybook tells a story with text in different languages, so children can learn words in multiple languages while enjoying a great story.

  • Basic Expression in Different Languages

    We also created basic expressions in various languages, its simple and useful for everyone no matter their language skills.
